MEET THE TEAM

David -  Majoring in Investigative Journalism and graduating  from Brookes college, Oxford with a Desmond and a yearbook entry claiming my attendance record  as the worst in the history of a college dating from 1835 I was surprised to receive to be first accused of treason and then to receive an offer of employment from the British Secret service based at GCHQ under a Sponsored Undergraduate Technologist (SUT) scheme that I hadn't even applied for.

Already an enthusiastic amateur and now able to find funding from the bottomless pit of the government i booked myself on a range of courses relating to and preparing me for my subsequent qualification as both  Certified Ethical hacker (CEH) and Certified Forensic Examiner (CFE)

I believe that no data is safe and that any data can be bought

Having spent almost 3 years on police bail waiting for the CPS to introduce some new laws to charge me with I had an early experience with the prosecutor's friend VOGON, specialists in Data recovery and Overcharging which when combined with the extraordinary level of inefficiency displayed by the prosecution service at every level inspired me to study data recovery and ethical hacking to become one of the best in the business. Noting with some discomfort that huge amounts of information are easily to obtain and that there is no such thing as data protection.

Bill - Though I was born and raised in Hong Kong and we often spoke Chinese when amongst Asian friends my family is fundamentally British. Shortly after I began studying at the City University in Kowloon for my  Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) degree it became apparent that the only thing worse than my pitiful pronunciation was my standard of written Chinese. It was explained to me as kindly as possible that anyone that I had previously conversed with in Chinese was probably too polite to point out that I spoke like a retard although I have since learned that they had a bloody good laugh at my expense from time to time. i switched to an IT course which I never completed because without reference to the fact that both my parents were in fact English and that I was already teaching the subject to students opting for English as their second  language  I was nominated by my tutors for an exchange scholarship and subsequently attended a post-graduate degree course in Manchester (UK) aimed at teaching bi-lingual students advanced levels of both languages simultaneously. Employed by my Chinese born tutor to help her to improve her own English skills I was unable to master the fundamentals of the language that she was trying to teach me. No doubt due to the fact that I had been speaking it so badly for so long. After failing my course I solved any future language problems by marrying my tutor and returning to Hong Kong to complete my business degree with my wife joining the faculty herself.

Sally - Formerly an Associate Professor of Chinese, Modern Languages and Literatures,.
at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in  Beijing, China I now work a unique job-share with my sister and we each spend 6 months of the year working at the first ever Chinese Sandisk distribution centre in the Futian Free Trade Zone of Shenzhen near Hong Kong.

Jordan - I thought that working for a company with offices in Hong Kong would be a good way to acquire some air miles and i was right. However i can't take them with me if i move back to Australia so I am still here 5 years with over half a million air miles to use up before i can leave.

Our love of new technology combined with our frustration at being unable to find reliable and ethical suppliers outside of the corporate machine lead us to begin sourcing products ourselves resulting in a tour of China, Honk Kong, Taiwan and Japan.

We visit  dozens of traders, manufacturers and distributors throughout the year in order to establish efficient trade relations and take the opportunity to see production for ourselves and record details of relevant certificates and affiliations issued by brand owners.
